According to New Study Exercise Does Not Necessarily Improve Weight Loss

We all know exercise is good for your health. However, anything taken to an extreme is not healthy including too much exercise. Just ask any of my patients who have been injured exercising.

A new study shows that people who are very physically active do not necessarily burn more calories in comparison to those people who were moderately active. The study also found that excessive exercise caused a weight loss plateau!

For years, we have told patients to keep exercising and eat less. However, the truth of the matter is people should be eating healthy foods, not starving themselves and participating in moderate forms of exercise.

So the moral of the story is to stay healthy by doing moderate exercise, eat healthy, and stay far away from sugar and excessive carbohydrates.
